This video was posted to the Jacknjellify X and TikTok account on July 5, 2020 with the text "Eraser swings. Eraser MISSES!" In the video, Eraser is seen walking up to a target with a bowl of darts in his hands. He drops the bowl, takes one dart out of the bowl, and throws it. He misses the shot and the dart lands on the grass. Eraser then takes a couple more darts and throws them. One hits the ground, three hits the board, and one dart hits the board, but bounces off and lands on the ground.
This is of course a very standard pattern, and once you get the hang of it, you should feel free to play around with the Beatmaker and come up with your own creative patterns. The sky’s the limit here!

Lo-fi used to broadly refer to any kind of music that had a quality of imperfection or a deliberately dissonant layer that added a richness to the soundscape. It came to be associated with DIY and indie “bedroom music” but had been employed in big studio sounds of artists like the Beach Boys and now, a newer genre of lo-fi music hip hop experimenting with jazz elements in an atmospheric way for YouTubers looking for a calming point of stillness in a chaotic world.
These subtle background elements can enhance the immersive quality of your Lo-fi song and really take the listener on a journey.
